Roselle aka Ribena Drink

bought the roselle flowers at the market, my mom use to make this for us when we were young but that was a long long time ago : P. After asking the lady how to make it and also calling my mum, i decided to make this.
To make this is too simple,
1) wash the flowers and rinse -about 680g
2)prepare pot, add water 4000liter and once boil, add sugar( i used brown sugar and some rock sugar or rock sugar only)
3)add the flowers with seed and let it boil til bubble then off the fire and cover with lid and leave it to cool for about 30mins-1 hr
4)once cool, store in bottle and keep in fridge and drink it cold, yummy

*roselle flower - 1 basket
* sugar is up to taste ( 250g-rock sugar)not sweet initially , 1 or 2 days later, sweeter

Pak Thong Kou

Been waiting to attempt this recipe for quite sometime now and guess what i was over confident and make 1 whole portion, used up almost all 500g of rice flour, the cake was dense and no holes, despite all these the taste was very nice.I shall do it again!
Pak Thong Kou- do not cover til you can see bubble raising up
